21st Meeting of the Pakistan Prosecution Forum (PPF)

The Punjab Prosecution Department hosted the 21st meeting of the Pakistan Prosecution Forum (PPF) in Lahore, reaffirming its commitment to advancing impactful prosecution reforms across the country. Funded by the U.S. Embassy's Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) and facilitated by UNODC, the forum provided a platform to review progress on key reforms and finalize strategies for future initiatives.

The meeting, chaired by the Secretary of the Punjab Prosecution Department, highlighted the critical roles and contributions required to strengthen prosecution services.

A central focus of the forum was gender mainstreaming within Pakistan's criminal justice system. A dedicated session emphasized the adoption of gender-sensitive policies and practices in prosecution services to ensure equitable justice delivery. The forum concluded with a pledge from prosecution leadership to actively support gender inclusion initiatives, underscoring their vital role in fostering a more inclusive and balanced criminal justice system.
