The office of Establishment-I, Public Prosecution Department deal with the:
- Recruitment and other establishment matters relating to Prosecutor General, Punjab Additional Prosecutor General, DPPs, Deputy Prosecutor General, DDPPs & ADPPs
- Recruitment and other establishment matters relating to officers in BS-18 & above of Directorate General of Inspection
- Maintenance / issuance of Seniority lists of above mentioned cadres on bi-annual basis
- Complaints, probes against officers mentioned in (i) above
- Coordination with attached Department for disposal of:
- Inter Departmental administrative references from S&GAD, Home Department, Law Department and others departments
- Cases of Financial Assistance to families of civil servants in respect of officers/prosecutors from BS-17 to BS-20
- Weeding of old record
